G20: WTTC Public-Private Sector Dialogue alongside G20 Tourism Ministerial Meetings

WTTC has had an active participation in shaping and solidifying the presence of tourism within the broader G20 agenda. From playing an instrumental role in bringing tourism into the official G20 statement for the first time in 2012 to the creation of a dedicated tourism track from 2020, WTTC has been partnering with successive G20 secretariats for over 10 years.

Our level of participation has varied from supporting the Presidency shaping the agenda and content of the Ministerial meeting, producing research and organising a dialogue with CEOs prior to the Ministerial.

As the Global private sector body that brings together more than 200 Presidents and Chief Executives of the most relevant Travel & Tourism businesses around the world, WTTC has been the voice of the private sector at G20 meetings.
